During a two-month remote UI design internship (January–February 2025), I worked intensively with Figma to create clean, user-centered interfaces. My primary project involved designing a complete e-commerce website interface, from homepage and product listings to cart/checkout flows. I applied core UI principles — hierarchy, consistent typography/color systems, responsive layouts, and micro-interactions — while iterating based on mentor feedback. This hands-on experience deepened my mastery of Figma’s advanced features (components, variants, auto-layout, prototyping) and taught me to balance visual polish with usability. The final designs improved perceived usability and visual coherence, preparing me to contribute effectively to real product teams.
